(Chinese Ice Hockey Association-Liu Xi)Team China met its second opponent Team Canada, which ranks the first place in the world on 19:00pm April 6th, 2008 at Baqu Arena.

Team Canada came off an 8-1 victory over Russia on April 4th,2008, while China lost its first game 3-5 with Russia yesterday evening.

Shi Yao, the goalkeeper of China, was so outstanding that she stopped many shots from Canada at first, but allowed a goal from NO.7 of Canada at 8:21 into the period.Two minutes later NO.17 made the second goal for Canada and made it a 2-0 lead.Although Team China paid more attention on defence, it can't stop the offense of Canada.The canada scored twice constantly within 14 minutes of the game.

Team China can't find the right way to handle the problem because Team Canada is much faster and stronger than it is. Team Canada made another 3 goals constantly in the second period.

Jia Dandan, the goalkeeper of Team China,replaced Shi Yao in the third peroid but still did not stop the Canadian onslaugh. Another four goals brought the final score to 11-0.
