(Chinese Ice Hockey Association-Liu Xi)After a two-hour game Team China lost its opening game 3-5 with Team Russia .After lost this game,Team China was put into a serious situation for the qualitication of 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

The head coach of Russia praised Team China very much in the conference press after the game:"They showed good performance.They felt comfortable on the ice.But China is not a hockey country,that is why we won.

The head coach of China also spoke highly of his players:"I feel proud of our girls. Russia has skilled players.We lost the game ,but we never gave up.We made 3 goals and showed how much we have improved these years.That is enough."

Team China will have the second game with Team Canada 19:00pm April 6th,2008.Team Canada ranks the first place in the world.Wang Linuo, The captain of China, metioned :" We will do better and better in the future."
