Team Finland got its opening game 12:00am on April 5th,2008.After a two-hour game,it got a 6-1 win against Japan.

Both of the teams pay more attention on defenting in the first period, and neither scored in this period.

Team Finland became much more offensive and first scored in the second period .After that, team Japan focused on cooperation and also scored by a long distance at 6:35 into the period.Then Team Finland scored another one and made it 2-1 lead.
