ISU World Junior Short Track Championships

Jung-Su Lee and Jae-Han Kim made it a 1 and 3 win for Korea in the men¡¯s event in Romania, with Maxime Chataignier from France taking second place. Eun-Ju Jung and Jung-Won Choi (both KOR) won gold and silver in the ladies¡¯ event with Yang Zhou (CHN) in third.

Robert Seifert (GER) upset the Korean dominance to top the men¡¯s 500m and overall silver medallist Maxime Chataignier of France was the victor in the 1000m. Jung-Su Lee took second place, behind team-mate Seung-Hoon Lee in the 1500m but Jung-Su Lee won the men¡¯s 1500m super final and  secured the World Junior title.

The men¡¯s relay was close, with the top three teams finishing within 0.6 seconds of each other. France won the gold from Canada and The Netherlands.

 Eun-Ju Jung finished ahead in the ladies' 1500m, the 500m and the 1000m but in the 1500m Super Final she had to settle for third place as overall bronze medalist Yang Zhou claimed the victory. The ladies¡¯ relay saw China come in first, Korea second and Hungary third.
